New deputies fill mental health unit...

Until the recent change, the department was without mental health-trained deputies from 2 to 7 a.m., Deputy Greg Ross said.

Sgt. Pat Matlock was promoted to lead the mental health unit. Other unit members Ross, Jeremiah Johnson and Mike Goodson have been joined by Ulysses Valez and Shaun Hodder.
