TOKYO (AP) – Japan says its economy contracted in the third quarter, the second consecutive quarter of decline, officially putting the world's No. 2 economy in a recession. Japan's gross domestic product fell at an annual pace of 0.4 percent in the July-Sept. period, following an April-June 3.0 decline.
